The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Albuquerque, New Mexico, created custom Silly Bandz® Bracelets! They will be giving them out at promotional events; like shows, camps, and meetings! They chose to make their bracelet into a blue goose, a shape that has been very symbolic to them.

Here is a little background on the “Blue Goose”:

The “Blue Goose” has been adopted as the symbol of the National Wildlife Refuge System.  Refuge boundary markers, entrance signs, brochures, and exhibits have displayed the blue goose since 1936.  The blue goose is the legacy of Pulitzer Prize winning editorial cartoonist J.N. “Ding” Darling, who designed the symbol while he was chief of the U.S. Biological Survey, the forerunner of today’s U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, from 1934-1935.

ZirMed, a Healthcare Technology company located in Louisville, Kentucky, created custom Silly Bandz® bracelets! Every year before the Kentucky Derby–May 7th–Louisville holds the Pegasus Parade (May 5th).  ZirMed will be sponsoring an inflatable in the parade!

Their custom, blue “Z” bandz will be given away at a parade preview! The two blues represent the colors in their company logo.

Miami County Parks in Troy, Ohio, is encouraging families to get outside more! They created custom Silly Bandz® bracelets in the shape of a blue and yellow tie-dyed butterfly to remind children and families to use their imagination when spending time together at their parks.

Take pictures of your “Follow Me’ Butterfly wrist band doing things outside with you and earn a special butterfly imagination rock (Ohio Flint).  Take at least 5 of these pictures, send your favorite on online to protectingnature@miamicountyparks.com.  Put copies of all 5 of them in your journal, bring the journal with your pictures into the park office at Charleston Falls to get your rock.

That’s Khloe K–wearing Kardashian Glam Silly Bandz® bracelets! She was pictured wearing her exclusive bandz at the release party for her and husband Lamar Odom’s new fragrance, Unbreakable, in L.A. last Monday!

Nickelodeon’s Annual Kids’ Choice Awards were held in Los Angeles on Saturday.  The show honors the year’s biggest television, movie, and music acts, as voted by Nickelodeon viewers!
