Miami County Parks in Troy, Ohio, is encouraging families to get outside more! They created custom Silly Bandz® bracelets in the shape of a blue and yellow tie-dyed butterfly to remind children and families to use their imagination when spending time together at their parks.

Here is what the letter reads that’s included with their exclusive bandz:
–What is the Miami County Park “Follow Me Butterfly?”–
Delightful, magical and transformational, the Butterfly reminds its admirers of the mystery of nature and the richness of human imagination. Butterflies have always fascinated and stimulated human imagination. These little, beautiful insects have the power to lighten people’s mood and bring a bit of joy to everyone’s heart. The butterfly symbol was displayed as a Clan or Family crest and as an emblem on the armor of samurai warriors. The butterfly was favored for the dual nature of its delicate and elegant symmetry, and its transcendent evolution from a lowly caterpillar to noble insect, carried aloft on radiant wings of color and beauty…
The “Follow Me” butterfly wrist band can transport your imagination to great heights! Wear it to remind you to let your imagination fly free as you explore the wonders of nature!
